MOH reports 3,304 new Covid-19 cases

THE Ministry of Health recorded 3,304 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.

According to the ministry’s CovidNow website, some 4.96 million infections have been reported since the onset of the pandemic.

There were 1,197 cases in Selangor yesterday, followed by Kedah (276), Kuala Lumpur (233), Sabah (221), Kelantan (195), Sarawak (192), Penang (173), Malacca (163), Putrajaya (147), Perak (138), Pahang (126), Terengganu (76), Negri Sembilan (75), Johor (52), Perlis (20) and Labuan (20).

The Health Ministry also reported eight Covid-19 deaths yesterday with three declared dead on arrival, bringing the total number of fatalities to 36,574.

There were 90 Covid-19 patients in intensive care units, of which 26 required respiratory support. – November 17, 2022.
