MALAYSIA today reported a decrease in Covid-19 cases with 3,346 new infections as of noon today, Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The country recorded 3,684 cases yesterday.
With the new figures, Malaysia now has recorded 2.8 million infections since the onset of the pandemic.
The breakdown of cases will be updated in the ministry’s CovidNow website after midnight.
Meanwhile, some 97.8% of the adult population in the country, or 22.8 million people, have completed their Covid-19 vaccination course as of yesterday.
As for the adolescent population aged 12 to 17, 90.9% have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 88.1% or 2.77 million from the group have been fully inoculated.. – January 14, 2022.
