MALAYSIA has vaccinated 22.4 million people, or 95.8%, of the adult population as of yesterday, the Health Ministry reported.
Data on the CovidNow portal showed 22.9 million adults, 97.8%, have received a dose of the vaccine.
A total of 41,391 vaccine shots were dispensed yesterday, including 20,365 booster doses, bringing the total number of jabs administered to nearly 50.5 million.
More than 2.2 million, or 70.2%, of children aged 12 to 17 have completed the vaccination course while 2.6 million, or 83.4%, have received a dose of the vaccine.
A total of 492,054 booster doses have been dispensed as of yesterday. – Bernama, November 5, 2021.
