LABUAN MP Rozman Isli today lodged a police report against the Sabahkini2 news portal for publishing an allegedly defamatory article on him.

He said the article, headlined “Rozman MP Labuan keluar Warisan sertai Muhyiddin?”, has been widely shared on social media, creating confusion and speculation among Parti Warisan Sabah leaders.

He said the report was published shortly before Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin unveiled his cabinet line-up in Putrajaya yesterday.

“I have already lodged a police report against the news portal to demand an open apology over its defamatory article,” he told a press conference in Labuan today.

“I strongly deny the Sabahkini2 report, which has damaged my reputation.

“I will stick with Warisan, and I am prepared to be an opposition MP to voice out the rights of Labuan and Sabah.”

He said he is mulling taking legal action against the site. – Bernama, March 10, 2020.
