PARTI Warisan Sabah’s Karim Bujang today denied an allegation that his diploma from a UK university is fake.

The Kimanis by-election candidate said he was awarded a higher national diploma – equivalent to a degree – in business studies following two years of studies sponsored by the Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco).

“I was granted a study leave with full pay in 1977 and 1978 by Sedco. I got the diploma about 40 years ago,” he said at the Batu 6 district polling centre when asked about the claim making the rounds online.

The January 18 by-election is a straight fight between Karim and Barisan Nasional’s Mohamad Alamin. – Bernama, January 8, 2020.
