A FORMER Felcra subsidiary managing director will be charged tomorrow over the misappropriation of funds and distribution of training contracts worth RM4 million.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission sources told The Malaysian Insight that the man was arrested on September 18 last year.

The 53-year-old faces several charges under the MACC Act 2009, they said.

MACC had raided the company’s office in Setapak and nine other premises in Perak and the east coast. Various documents were seized.

Following the raids, Felcra CEO Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor ordered his officers to lodge a report with the anti-graft agency, after an external audit highlighted discrepancies requiring a further probe.

Nazrul had said the report would allow MACC to conduct a thorough investigation, and ensure the protection of staff welfare and the public’s interest.

“The Felcra management promises to give full cooperation throughout the investigation, and will make sure that anyone found guilty of wrongdoing is prosecuted according to the law.” – September 3, 2019.

  • There are all these bumiputra companies carried craft cases without fail. How to trust a Malay leader to manage a company? With probably 90% of the govt service dominated by bumiputra, how to improve service standard with leaders more interested to korek money from the govt organizations? HOPELESS. Is this part of ketuanan Melayu? I believe these are small fraction of the Malay community influenced by Apa Malu Bossku!!
