Nga confirms there is plot to remove Perak MB

PERAK DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming today said he can confirm that there is a conspiracy to topple Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

He said a police report will be lodged over the matter soon.

He said he based his conclusion on recent disclosures by state Religious and Islamic Education, Industry, Rural and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Asmuni Awi and former menteri besar Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

Yesterday, Nga said reports claiming there are efforts to remove the menteri besar are libellous and aimed at creating disunity in the state government.

Asmuni has said a state Umno leader had offered him the post of menteri besar if he quits Pakatan Harapan and forms a new state government, Nga told a press conference in Ipoh today.

He said Zambry, at a presser yesterday, claimed that there is an attempt to bring down the state government.

“So, I can confirm that there is an attempt to topple the Perak government.”

He said state PH secretariat head V. Sivakumar will soon lodge a report against state Umno liaison committee chairman Saarani Mohamad and Zambry.

Asmuni, in a Facebook post yesterday, said a Perak Umno leader had offered him the post of menteri besar at a meeting on November 1.

It was reported that the state Umno said there is a “serious move” by several excos to topple Faizal through a vote of no confidence. – Bernama, November 27, 2018.

  • Nga Kor Ming.---- Honestly many will not miss him if he is toppled.He has yet to do his job!!!! Stop protecting and support him when he is incompetent. Whether the oposition has a plot to topple him is another story (seriously it is a good thing ) BUT when he is holding the portfolio as an MB he better get his ass dirty on the job and not drifting away from the main role. He seems interested to be President of Perak Football and I think he suits that role rather than as an MB BUT make sure he resign from his MB position and let someone who is competent and passionate in the job.

  • If he is unable to carry out his work and responsible as a Perak MB he is to be replaced stop monkeying this issue PH no big deal to replace MB Minister or Anyone if they are unable to carry out the responsible and work its not about the support that they get. Do not be like dumshit umno bn pas if they cant get support they turn to corruption and buy support. Shake up PH or out you go GE15. This are the peoples Expectation even if you are a Government for only 6 months dont make it as and Excuse. Face this Challenges if youre to be future leaders remember you are not leaders yet. Think and Support PM Tun and the people thats first all the rest is 2nd. Its because of the people and Tun that you are where you are today remember no one is Indispensable.
