REPORTS claiming there are efforts to remove the current Perak menteri besar are libellous and aimed at creating disunity in the state government, said DAP Perak chairman Nga Kor Ming.

Nga said all 31 Pakatan Harapan state assemblymen would continue supporting the state administration under the leadership of Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

Umno Perak chairman Saarani Mohamad had reportedly said that elections may be held in Perak due to an impending vote of no confidence against Ahmad.

However, Nga said Saarani was using dirty politics to try and topple the state government.

“I stress that the rumous (toppling the Perak menteri besar) are not true. I am confident that all 31 PH state assemblyman will give their full support to the Perak state government and menteri besar.

“Our focus is on the budget, which will be presented tomorrow, not on entertaining false rumours,” Nga told reporters at the Parliament lobby today. – November 26, 2018.
