A “MEDICAL diversion” forced a Malaysia Airlines flight to make an emergency landing in Perth early this morning,” news.com.au reports today.
The news site reported a spokesman for Perth Airport as saying flight MH149 from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne diverted to Perth because of a medical issue.
The plane landed at 4.04am and was due to depart for Melbourne less than two hours later.
In response to the report, MAS issued a statement, confirming that the plane had stopped in Perth due to the medical needs of a passenger.
