Review Jakim, abolish Iksim and BTN, says G25

Noor Farida Ariffin of G25, the pro-moderate Muslim group, said they recommended to the Committee on Institutional Reforms that the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) be reviewed and to abolish the Malaysian Islamic Strategic Research Institute (Iksim) and the National Civics Bureau (BTN). - May 31, 2018.

  • As much as I agree with Tawfik Ismail, its stimply political suicide for PH to abolish Jakim. Might as well call Hadi's PAS illegal. RUU355 is unconstitutional BUT any judge who rule that might as well leave the country.. THIS is Malaysia schism, you cannot rule or argue against it, the best that can be done is a very very long conversation.
