[WATCH] Barisan to field young candidate in Nenggiri, says Umno veep

BARISAN Nasional will field a young candidate for the Nenggiri state by-election slated for August 17, said Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.

He said the identified candidate will also have on-the-ground experience, report New Straits Times.

Yesterday, Barisan Nasional chairman and Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said their political bureau had identified one of three shortlisted candidates to contest in the by-election. – July 15, 2024.
