[WATCH] Khairy mulls Selangor state polls foray if a right party emerges
KHAIRY Jamaluddin is looking to Selangor to further his political career and could contest in the state polls despite losing in Sungai Buloh at the 15th general election.
But the sacked Umno leader said his Selangor move will depend on joining the right party.
“There is a possibility if I find the right fit with the right party,” Khairy told The Malaysian Insight.
He has not been short of offers to join other political parties after the sacking last Friday.
“I think my politics has migrated to Selangor,” the former Rembau MP added.
The former Umno youth chief, along with another party stalwart, Noh Omar, were booted out of Umno on Friday for allegedly working against party interests. – January 31, 2023
