IF Putrajaya is serious in creating a third deputy speaker position, it should not be done solely for the purpose of political expediency but as part of Parliament’s institutional reform, Nga Kor Ming said.

The Teluk Intan MP said the creation of the new role must come along with the setting up of the second chamber to better manage the time spent in parliament debating on issues. – October 8, 2021.
