UMNO withdrawing its support for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and the Perikatan Nasional government is a culmination of its dissatisfaction at having to play a minor role in the administration, said political analysts.

They told The Malaysian Insight that the “straw that broke the camel’s back” was when Muhyiddin went against the Yang is-Pertuan Agong’s order and revoked the emergency ordinances before being debated in parliament. – August 6, 2021.
