THE Covid-19 pandemic can be an opportunity to rewrite and redefine the education system in Malaysia, said former education minister Maszlee Malik

The Simpang Renggam MP said the pandemic, which has forced the authorities to look at new ways of conducting lessons, has provided the occasion to rewrite not just the system, but also on how the students learn and educators advocate.

He said engagement and empowerment of communities and individuals were the very two things needed, especially under the current climate to enhance the country’s education system.
