FROM humble beginnings to the world’s largest condom manufacturer, Karex has come a long way from where it started.
CEO MK Goh recalls how the family business—now completely professionalised—was started by his grandfather, whom he credits for having foresight. Not content with being just a rubber tapper, he ventured into manufacturing. The family sold everything they owned and moved into the factory.
Today, Karex produces 1 in 5 condoms that are being sold in the market. – October 14, 2019.
