ON September 14, 2019, a union between two parties will be recorded in the ‘Umno-PAS union charter’, after spending 40 years in opposition.

The Umno-PAS marriage was celebrated by thousands of members from both parties at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). 

For the first time, the ‘Bulan’ and ‘Sang Saka Bangsa’ flags were both hoisted side-by-side at the PWTC. 

The Umno-PAS charter will be formalised tomorrow (Sept 14), and is expected to give rise to more structured organisation on the division, state and national level. - September 13, 2019.
