SIJIL Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) and equivalent qualification holders for the 2023/2024 academic session can check results of their applications to public universities from today, said the Higher Education Ministry (MOHE).

The MOHE in a statement today said the results would be available until 5pm on September 16 through the UPUPocket app or the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu sites.

It said applicants have until September 16 to accept or reject admission offers, and that offer letters would only be issued after successful applicants confirm their acceptance.

It encouraged unsuccessful applicants to submit appeals at UPUOnline before 5pm on September 16.

The MOHE said 70,156 out of 118,143 applicants were offered placements at public universities.

“Of the total, 24,846 were male and 45,310 were female,” it said, adding that offers were final and requests for changes would not be entertained. – Bernama, September 7, 2023.
