FORMER ministers Rafidah Aziz and Rais Yatim are still bitter about being dropped from their government posts, said Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.
“Obviously, they still hold a grudge, so let them say what they want to say,” he told reporters after launching the eHalal app in Kuala Lumpur today.
Asked about what he thinks of a former prime minister joining DAP in the 14th general election, he laughed.
“That’s my comment.”
Dr Mahathir Mohamad yesterday said he is willing to contest on the ticket of any Pakatan Harapan party, including DAP, in GE14 if his party, Bersatu, is dissolved.
Rafidah and Rais have been vocal in their criticism of the ruling Barisan Nasional government under Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Rafidah has slammed Malaysian authorities over their failure to find 1Malaysia Development Bhd-linked businessman Low Taek Jho’s super yacht Equanimity.
Rais, meanwhile, has criticised leaders who did not attend the burial of former Kedah menteri besar Sanusi Junid.
He said Sanusi, who also held the post of cabinet minister, had contributed a lot to Umno and the country.
“It seems that (Sanusi’s) old friends don’t care much about (his) contributions,” said Rais in a Facebook post.
“I hold you dear in my memory, Sanusi.” – March 14, 2018.
