FORMER health minister Khairy Jamaluddin has joined Hot FM as a radio announcer under the Bekpes Hot segment, the New Straits Times reported.
Khairy will be on the air at the radio station beginning next Wednesday 6-10am.
He will be presenting five days a week from Monday to Friday.
Khairy confirmed the gig in a telephone interview on Bekpes Hot with radio announcers Johan, AG and AC Mizal today.
In a statement, Media Prima Audio (MPA) said the offer to Khairy was made in an open letter on its Instagram account @hotfm976.
“Having him join Hot FM is in line with the radio station’s tagline ‘Yang Hangat Dan Terbaik’ (The Hottest And Best).”
MPA chief executive officer Nazri Noran Khairy said a strong presence on social media will give something different to listeners.
This, he said, will present a new dimension to Malaysian radio stations as MPA is optimistic that it will attract more listeners to Hot FM. – February 9, 2023.
