Media Prima denies ntv7 has shut down

THERE is no change in the ownership of Media Prima Berhad’s television channel under Media Prima Television Networks, Natseven TV Sdn Bhd (ntv7).

Media Prima in a statement today said that it has not ceased operations as perceived and reported by certain quarters following the news of the launching of DidikTV Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (DidikTV KPM) tomorrow.

“DidikTV KPM is a strategic commercial collaboration between Media Prima and the Education Ministry that aims to increase the access of quality education to students nationwide given Media Prima’s extensive reach within Malaysia and its proven capability in producing quality content.

“DidikTV KPM will broadcast teaching and learning (PdP) content based on the national curriculum and co-curriculum as well as other exciting education related programmes including edutainment content,” it said.

Media Prima said DidikTV KPM would also feature content that empower knowledge, good values while also building a platform for a well informed society. – Bernama, February 16, 2021.
