SOME 83 areas in Gombak and Kuala Lumpur are facing unscheduled water cuts after a mains pipe burst at Bukit Indah Industrial Park, Sungai Buloh, Air Selangor said in a statement today.

The water concessionaire said repairs began at 9am and were due to finish by 10pm.

“Water will be restored in stages once repairs are completed.

“The restoration will vary for all affected areas as it depends on the water pressure of the distribution system and distance to premises,” the company said.

Air Selangor added that it was sending water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical facilities such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres. – January 1, 2023.
