PEJUANG candidates for the upcoming Johor polls will be required to take an anti-graft psychometric test as recommended by Rasuah Busters.

President Mukhriz Mahathir said this is to ensure party candidates have a high level of credibility, and are clean and not involved in corrupt activities.

“The test is also part of our commitment to provide the best service to the people and, at the same time, it expresses our desire to change the fate of the nation by ensuring a corruption-free future and restore Malaysia’s former glory,” he said in a statement today.

On Tuesday, Pejuang said it will go into the polls alone, but may consider cooperation with other political parties later.

The Election Commission has set polling day on March 12, while nomination is on February 26 and early voting is on March 8. – Bernama, February 10, 2022.
