MOH reports 3,175 new Covid-19 cases

MALAYSIA recorded 3,175 new Covid-19 infections as of noon, Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.

Today’s figure is an increase from yesterday’s 2,888.

The fresh cases today bring the cumulative number of infections nationwide to 2,792,035.

The breakdown of cases according to states will be uploaded on the CovidNow website after midnight.

Noor Hisham also said that the infection rate nationwide was 0.98 as of yesterday, where a value of more than 1.0 means the infection is spreading.

Among all states and territories, Labuan has the highest infection rate at 1.16. – January 11, 2022.
