72.2% of population fully dosed against Covid

MALAYSIA has fully inoculated 72.2% of its population following the administration of 157,999 vaccine doses  yesterday.

The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 25.3 million people, or 77.6%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

As of yesterday, 80.8% of children aged 12-17 have received one shot while 46.3% are fully vaccinated.

The CovidNow website tracker projects that 80% of the population will be fully vaccinated by December 15.

Data showed 97.4% of the adult population have been fully dosed.

More than 48.83 million jabs have been dispensed under the national vaccination campaign. – October 23, 2021.
