Four localities in Pahang, one in Sabah under EMCO starting September 12

FOUR localities in Pahang and one in Sabah will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from September 12 until September 25, national security council director-general Rodzi Md Saad said. 

The localities in Pahang that are affected are the Orang Asli settlements in Kuala Krau in Temerloh, namely Kg Pasu and Kg Penderas, Pos Sinderut in Ulu Jelai, as well as Lipis and Felda Keratong 5 in Rompin.

Meanwhile, the affected locality in Sabah is Kg Kopungit in Kota Kinabalu.

“The same standard operating procedure as enforced in all EMCO areas before this applies,” he said in a statement on Facebook today. 

The EMCO in several localities in Kelantan and Sabah, which were implemented on August 29, will end tomorrow as scheduled. 

They are Kg Bayu Lalang, parts of Kg Banggol Kemian, and parts of Kg Repek Gual Periok – all of which are in the Pasir Mas district in Kelantan.

Meanwhile, the Sabah localities where the EMCO will end tomorrow are Kg Debut in Ranau and Kg Tindai Kolopis in Penampang. – Bernama, September 10, 2021.
