Delhi, which has been one of the worst-hit Covid-19 hotspots in India since last year, witnessed as many as 135 new pandemic cases and seven deaths through yesterday.

Meanwhile, all shops, and restaurants have been allowed to open in Delhi with effect from Monday, with 50% seating capacity, as the number of pandemic cases and deaths per day have fallen steeply in the past couple of weeks. Schools, colleges, other educational institutions, swimming pools, gymnasiums, etc, however, continue to remain shut. – Bernama, June 20, 2021.
