19 new Covid-19 clusters today

Malaysia’s active Covid-19 cluster count has shot up to 448, with 19 new groupings reported today. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Seth Akmal, May 10, 2021.

ACTIVE Covid-19 clusters shot up to 448 today when health authorities traced 19 new clusters in the country, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. 

Of the new clusters, traced in the last 24 hours, seven clusters stemmed from workplaces, the most for today, followed by religious (5) and community transmissions (5) and education sector (2). 

Noor Hisham said five clusters were reported in Selangor, Johor (3), Kedah, Sarawak and Perak (2 each), Penang, Sabah, Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan (1 each).

2. Jalan Raja Musa in Kuala Selangor, Selangor (6)

3. Jalan Maharani in Muar and Tangkak, Johor (33)

4. Bukit Minyak Lapan in North, South and Central Seberang Prai (37)

5. Dah Empat Kota in Kota Setar, Kuala Muda, Pendang and Yan, Kedah (10)

6. Complex Empat in Kota Kinabalu, Kota Belud, Papar, Penampang, Putatan, Ranau, Sandakan and Tuaran, Sabah (26)

7. Gudang Genting in Bentong, Pahang (14)

8. Desa Kemuning in Klang, Selangor (10)
