IRB sues two other Jho Low’s allies over tax arrears

THE Government of Malaysia, through the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has filed separate suits against two other allies of the fugitive businessman, Low Taek Jho or Jho Low, over their income tax arrears totalling RM9.3 million.

The writs of summons against Casey Tang Keng Chee, 56, and Jasmine Loo Ai Swan, 47, demanding them to pay income tax arrears of RM6.8 million and RM2.5 million respectively, were filed at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur on December 4, 2020 and Jan 8, 2021.
