BERA is the only district in Peninsular Malaysia that has returned to green zone status.

According to the Health Ministry’s infographics, the district in Pahang, which previously had one positive case, is now free of infection.

There are currently only four green zones nationwide, with the other three being Limbang, Asajaya and Mukah in Sarawak.

The red zone categorisation is for areas with more than 41 cases, while areas with between 20 and 40 cases are considered as orange zones. Yellow zones are those with between one and 19 cases, while places with no cases are categorised as green zones.

As of February 7, the total number of active cases in the country stood at 51, 241. – February 8, 2021.
