Romanians head to polls in shadow of pandemic

ROMANIANS vote in parliamentary elections today, with the governing pro-European liberals tipped to win despite criticism for their handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Polling stations open at 7am local time and close at 9pm, when an exit poll will be published by the local media.
