PRICES for petrol and diesel will go up by 7 sen and 6 sen per litre respectively in the coming week, the Finance Ministry said in a statement today.

RON97 will be sold at RM1.68 per litre while the price of RON95 petrol will increase to RM1.38 per litre.

Diesel, on the other hand, will see a hike to RM1.51 per litre.

The new prices are from May 23 to 29.

The price hike is due to the increase in refined product prices in line with the rise in global crude oil prices, said the ministry. – May 22, 2020.
