PATRICK Teoh has been remanded over an allegation that he insulted Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
The former radio deejay’s lawyer, Rajan Navaratnam, confirmed to The Star that Teoh was arrested yesterday after a report was lodged on the matter.
He said Teoh allegedly shared a video Tunku Ismail posted last year that showed the royal and other individuals dressed in military garb and handling firearms.
The 72-year-old is believed to have shared the clip on Thursday and used obscenities in his Facebook comment on it.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal confirmed that Teoh was called up to have his statement recorded.
Rajan and police said the accused has been remanded till Tuesday.
The case is being investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for the improper use of network facilities. – May 10, 2020.
