Petaling Jaya highest number of Covid-19 cases

PETALING Jaya is leading the pack as the district with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country with a total of 96, director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

This is followed by Lembah Pantai, which is close to Petaling Jaya, with 90 cases reported as of 12pm yesterday, making it the district with the highest number of cases in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya and the second highest nationwide.

Hulu Langat (75), Johor Baru (52), Seremban (42), and Titiwangsa (41) are the other districts with a high number of cases.

Over in Sabah and Sarawak, Tawau and Lahad Datu, Sabah, reported the highest number of cases at 37 and 32, followed by Kuching with 30.

Noor Hisham today shared the distribution and mapping of the cases according to districts.

The number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has reached 1,183 with eight fatalities so far. – March 22, 2020.
