Zuraida says has nothing to do with SD on Dr Mahathir

ZURAIDA Kamaruddin today said she has nothing to do with a group of MPs’ move to sign a statutory declaration in support of Dr Mahathir Mohamad staying a full term as prime minister.

“I’m not certain about the authenticity of the news. I don’t know about the SD, only Allah knows. I’m not involved in it.”

The housing and local government minister, who is on leave from her post as PKR vice-president pending an investigation by the party’s disciplinary board, was speaking to reporters after opening a market in Selising, Pasir Puteh.

It was reported that 138 MPs – among them 18 from PAS, PKR (26), Umno (at least 13) and Bersatu (26) – have signed the SD. – Bernama, February 14, 2020.
