APART from vice-president Tian Chua, members of Azmin Ali’s faction were conspicuously missing from the 14th PKR congress’ closing ceremony today.

Besides Azmin, who is party deputy president, vice-presidents Zuraida Kamaruddin and Ali Biju were missing.

In Azmin’s place was secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The feud between Azmin and president Anwar Ibrahim came to a head yesterday when the former’s faction led a walkout midway during the debates.

At a press conference later, Azmin said the walkout was prompted by delegates’ attacks against him and how Anwar had reneged on an agreement made on Wednesday.

“We will see if there is a more responsible attitude towards rectifying the situation. But up until now, our agreement has been broken.

“So, what do you expect in the next 24 hours?” said Azmin when asked if his group will attend the closing at the Malacca International Trade Centre today. – December 8, 2019.

  • If you are reluctant to rope in AA's factions then PKR is going to explode within and cripple PKR now seen as the party with the most problems and heading for chaos. With AA you do not need any enemies. The weakest link in PH that will cause the coalition's downfall in GE 15.

  • One just wonder what they are fighting about? The common goal of Reformasi?
