Angry with Azmin attacks, delegates walk out of PKR congress

LESS than 100 delegates linked to PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali have staged a walkout after debates resumed at the Malacca International Trade Centre today.

Among those seen leaving were vice-president Tian Chua, and women’s chief Haniza Talha and her deputy Daroyah Alwi.

Also, vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin and Azmin are not on stage listening to the debates.

Leaders of the group have called for a press conference at the Ames Hotel in Malacca town.

Met outside, one delegate from Ledang who gave his name as Goh said they are unhappy with the debates that are centred on bashing Azmin.

Goh said he is also unhappy with the way several leaders who lost in party polls are reappointed to the state and national leadership.
