A SECOND fight broke out at the PKR youth congress today as security personnel and youths claiming to be delegates clashed outside the venue in Malacca.

The tussle began outside the Malacca International Trade Centre when the group tried to enter the premises.

After efforts to verify their identities failed, the youths tried to push their way in.

As a result of the pushing and shoving, several fistfights broke out before security personnel managed to break apart the men and push the group out of the premises.

The fight between two groups then continued outside before police stepped in to break up the fight.

About 100 youths wearing black shirts were seen outside the centre.

Earlier this morning, a ruckus broke out at the venue as sacked youth chairman Mizan Adli tried to join the conference to protest against his removal from the party.

Mizan was replaced with Malacca youth secretary Rashid Abu Bakar as the new chairman. Also elected was Kedah youth secretary Wan Mohamed Syahezral Shahidan as the new deputy chairman. – December 6, 2019.
