FORMER deputy minister Ahmad Maslan denies that he received any money from 1Malaysia Development Bhd.
He said that he was investigated by MACC and the police had shown a copy of the cheque allegedly given to him.
“I have also signed documents with MACC and the police to say that I did not receive the money as alleged.”
He said he will be consulting his lawyers on what to do next.
Ahmad was deputy minister of international trade (2015-2018), finance (2013-2015) and in the Prime Minister’s Department (2009-2013).
In 2015, whistleblower website Sarawak Report alleged that three MPs had received money from former prime minister Najib Razak’s private account.
