A FACEBOOK account under Haziq Abdul Aziz’s name has claimed that the Santubong PKR Youth chief and party deputy president Azmin Ali had been intimate on previous occasions and accused the economic affairs minister of being a “sick man”.

The account, where a confession purportedly by Haziq was posted yesterday, also accused PKR Youth deputy chief Hilman Idham of being Azmin’s “henchman” who forced Haziq to deny his liaisons with Azmin.

Hilman is also Azmin’s political secretary.

“It broke me that Azmin Ali, the man I looked up to choose to tie his loose ends rather than owning up to his mistakes.

“I know you are a sick man because only you could have recorded the videos for personal collection after inviting me to your hotel room on all occasions.

“First, it was at the Grand Continental Kuching three years ago, then at Pullman Kuching during Pemilihan Parti in October last year. We did it again in Grand Hyatt KL during your stint as Menteri Pengiring to the sultan of Brunei in March this year and our recent encounter at Four Point Sandakan last month,” today’s post said.

It is not clear if the post is genuine, as Santubong PKR chief Ahmad Nazib Johari was quoted saying by the Borneo Post yesterday that Haziq has denied being in the sex video of two men and also in the confession clip.

Haziq himself has not been reachable since the video of his confession was released yesterday.

In the confession, Haziq who is also principal private secretary to Deputy Primary Industries Minister Shamsul Iskandar Akin, said the viral video purportedly of him and Azmin having sex was taken in a room at the Four Points Hotel in Sandakan on May 11, the day of the seat’s by-election.

Haziq also said the video had been taken “without his consent”.

Azmin has denied the allegations and called the video a nefarious plot to destroy his political career.

In today’s post, Haziq said Azmin sent Hilman to meet him at Marriot Putrajaya to get him to hide the minister’s identity.

“He forced me to deny that it was you in the viral video and asked me to lie for you. I asked for more time to consult my parents and this angered him.

“After I refused he made threats and said ‘this’ will be shut down within 48 hours with or without my help to lie.”

The post on Haziq’s Facebook account also expressed worry that more videos would be leaked and that his future would be “over”, while Azmin would enjoy the “luxury” of being a minister.

“You even have the prime minister pledging his full support before any formal investigation had been done. Only the truth can set me free as I am concerned for the safety of my family and mine.

“I hope the public will see you as who you truly are – manipulative and (with) immense influence all together with your henchmen.”

The post names Hilman as one of Azmin’s henchmen, as well as two other PKR leaders.

The post also questions the “sincerity of the new government in pursuing reformasi” and laments that Haziq has been accused of having a political agenda by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
