SANTUBONG PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdul Aziz has denied involvement in a sex scandal linked to Mohamed Azmin Ali, said the division’s head.

Malay Mail reported that Santubong PKR chief Ahmad Nazib Johari contacted Haziq to find out more about his “confession” to being in clips showing two men having sex, and was told by the latter that it is not him in the said clips.

Nazib said Haziq also denied being the person in the video confession, which was uploaded onto Facebook this morning.

“I called him this afternoon, asking for an explanation on the alleged scandal, and he categorically denied being one of the individuals featured in the sex videos and being the individual making the confession.

“I also contacted Haziq’s close friend, and he, too, denied it.”

He said upon close inspection, the man in the Facebook video has different physical characteristics from Haziq.

Nazib said he last met the Youth leader three days ago.

“I noticed Haziq’s hair was short, and his body was not as big as the man in the video.

“The confession does not reflect the person I know, who has good religious and family background and character.”

In the confession video, Haziq named the other man with him in the clips as Azmin, and called for the PKR deputy president to be investigated for corruption.

Azmin, who is also economic affairs minister, has denied the allegation, saying it is a character assassination attempt against him.

Hours after he issued the denial, fresh photos and video showing two men in compromising positions were shared via two new WhatsApp groups.
