Rosmah’s supporters gather at MACC

ROSMAH Mansor’s supporters are gathered outside the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya where she is held tonight.

The show of solidarity, organised by Umno Supreme Council member Lokman Noor Adam, follows her arrest this afternoon at the MACC office where she was being questioned for the third time over money allegedly stolen from 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

The wife of former prime minister Najib Razak is to be charged tomorrow at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court, the MACC said earlier.

Lokman was wearing an orange T-shirt, mocking the lock-up clothing donned by MACC detainees, as he rallied supporters at Putrajaya’s 7th precinct.

The group was critical against Attorney-General Tommy Thomas’ alleged links with DAP, and accused police and anti-graft agencies as being puppets of Pakatan Harapan.

Actress Elly Suriati was also present, claiming the arrest was a form of character assassination. – October 3, 2018.
