Cops re-looking allegations that CEO molested children

POLICE are re-examining reports against a former chief executive officer that he had molested and outraged the modesty of his children, The Star reports.

The move comes after the arrest of the CEO on Thursday for allegedly trespassing on his ex-wife’s home and making death threats against her and her family.

He has been released on bail.

The ex-wife had lodged at least 15 police reports after she divorced the man in 2015, but all were classified as NFA (no further action) by the deputy public prosecutor.

Bukit Aman Sexual, Women and Child Investigations Division (D11) principal assistant director Assistant Commissioner Choo Lily confirmed that police had begun investigations into these reports.

The Star said it had sighted copies of the earlier reports against the former CEO for sexually molesting his two children, then aged 10 and 8.

In one report made on May 8, 2015, the elder child had allegedly told a counsellor that her father had made her hold his penis while he was lying in bed beside her.

Her mother had brought the two girls to the counsellor after “suspecting something amiss”.

The Star, which stated it had seen video of the counselling session, said the children “graphically” recounted some of the abuse their father allegedly subject them to.

A police report was lodged and the counsellor had also filed an affidavit with the Kuala Lumpur Shariah Court stating that he was ready to testify as he was legally obligated to report any immoral activities done to children.

In September that year, another police report was made after the younger daughter had complained of abdominal pain and nausea to a nurse at her school.

She was brought to a private hospital for a check up, and the doctor there referred the case to the University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for further tests.

Doctors at UMMC advised the mother to lodge the police report as they suspected the child had been molested. – May 25, 2019.
