PAKATAN Harapan is getting jittery with the cooperation between PAS and Umno as the union will kick them out of Putrajaya in the next elections, said Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi.

The unity between both parties is making PH jealous and it has to resort to bashing the Islamist party, the PAS information chief said at a ceramah for the Semenyih by-election last night.

“Even though the Semenyih by-election is between Bersatu and Umno but Pakatan continues to bash PAS because of our support for Umno.

“They have seen the feedback and support we are getting which might lead them to lose in the 15th general election,” he said in Kg Gurun, Semenyih.

PAS supports Umno for the simple reason that both parties wish to protect Islam, he said.

“PAS is willing to work with anyone who puts Islam first. Umno has shown that it is willing to work with us because we have the same intentions.

“We used to fight a lot before, but if Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad can accept PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, then why not.

“The most important thing is the direction of both PAS and Umno and our cooperation.”

Nasrudin predicted a Barisan Nasional victory in Semenyih, just like the Cameron Highlands by-election.

“We had many by-elections before, but we achieved a win in Cameron with our unity.

“We will do the same here.”

PH is fielding Muhammad Aiman Zainali from Bersatu against Zakaria Hanafi (BN), Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul (PSM) and independent Kuan Chee Heng.
