Semenyih rep dies of heart attack

MOHD Bakhtiar Mohd Nor, the Semenyih assemblyman died at 4.45am today at Hospital Kajang from a heart attack.

The Bersatu assemblyman’s funeral will take place after Friday prayers at Masjid Kampung Pasir, Semenyih, the Selangor menteri besar’s office said today.

He is the fourth state rep to die in Selangor since the 14th general election last May, in which Pakatan Harapan took over Putrajaya. Sg Kandis assemblyman Shuhaimie Shafiei from PKR died of cancer on July 2, and Balakong assemblyman Ng Tien Chee was killed in an accident on July 20.

Prof Dr Shaharuddin Badaruddin, the Seri Setia, assemblyman died of colon cancer on August 2.

At GE14, Bakhtiar won the seat by 8,964 votes, defeating the Barisan Nasional, PAS and Parti Sosialis Malaysia candidates.

The Bersatu Hulu Langat division chief won 23,428 votes. – January 11, 2019.

  • who would it be from the opposition dumno or pas, during ge14 dumno got 27.2% while pas did 13.1% so combine them both 40.3%, my take pas will stay aside on this but the outcome is still the same though.
