THIS week on FCKL, Saleem sits down with special guest and producer, Raevathi Supramaniam (as Yusseri jet-sets around the world) to unpack the serious themes in the TV series, The Handmaid’s Tale.

Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel, The Handmaid’s Tale is set in a dystopian future where society is divided into classes. Fertile women are referred to as the eponymous Handmaids, whose sole purpose is to bear children for the elite classes.

The series, which is exclusively available via online streaming, received critical acclaim. It has just finished its second season and has been renewed for a third.  – July 26, 2018.
