YOGA enthusiasts gather at Batu Caves, Selangor, to celebrate International Yoga Day with a harmonious and inclusive spirit. Aligning with the Northern Hemisphere’s longest day, June 21, serves as the annual Yoga Day, symbolising harmony and unity.

The Indian High Commission, in collaboration with 40 organisations, conducted the event, which was celebrated across 75 locations in all states.

In 2016, Yoga - the mind-body discipline based on ancient Indian philosophy - was honoured by being included in UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. – June 27, 2023.
