PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) expects to win enough seats for a majority, the coalition’s election director Mohamed Azmin Ali said today.

The Gombak candidate said he hoped PN would be given a clear mandate to lead the country without having to form an alliance with other coalitions.

“PN is vying for 171 seats. That means we are aiming to secure enough seat without having to enter into coalition with other parties.

“We have been working very hard in the last few months to ensure that PN will get enough support to form the government,” said Azmin, who was voting at SK Klang Gates in Gombak.

There are 222 seats in the lower house of parliament. – November 19, 2022.
