[WATCH] 1,697 Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

MALAYSIA recorded a drop in new Covid-19 cases to 1,697 infections yesterday, compared to 2,239 cases the day before.

The fresh infections bring the total number of reported infections to 4.47 million.

Meanwhile, a total of five deaths were recorded yesterday with one brought in dead, bringing the total number of Covid-19 deaths to 35,620. – May 17, 2022.
