THE Covid-19 cases in Malaysia drops to 5,899 infections from 6,968 cases the day before, the Health Ministry said.

5,883 of the infections were local cases while 16 of the infections were imported cases.

Meanwhile, 5 deaths were recorded, which is also a significant decrease from the 16 fatalities the day before.

4 out of the 5 of deaths were Brought in Dead cases.

This brings the death toll to 35,470. – April 22, 2022.
